A SCORM is a type of ready-made, interactive content that is aligned with a curriculum. Using SCORMs makes it easy for instructors to use content without having to develop content themselves. SCORM learning objects provide immediate feedback to learners, and the grades from completing the activities are automatically sent to the gradebook.

As several educational development software companies publish digital learning activities in SCORM format, there are a variety of SCORM activities in your courses. Each SCORM activity may have a unique composition of activities. Popular formats at both the lower and higher learner levels will be shown here.
